Shepton Montague

Shepton Montague is an hamlet in South Somerset midway between Wincanton, Bruton and Castle Cary. Known for its dairy farming and one of the country's main centres of organic farming. The name originates from Sheep Town in the estate of the Montague family from nearby Yeovil, who came over to England in the Norman invasion.
