Sheppey United F.C.

Sheppey United F.C. is a football club based in Kent, England and were formed in 1890. They were the founding members of the Southern Football League Division Two in 1894 and played in the Southern League Divsion One for four seasons from 1896-97 to 1899-1900 when they were relegated.

They were also the founding members of the Kent League. They have won the Kent League 7 times in their history in 1906, 1907, 1928, 1973, 1975, 1979, 1995 as well as the Greater London League in 1965. Sheppey United has had three separate stints in the Southern League. The club also have numerous county cups to their name.

However, in March 2001, they resigned from the Kent League. The club returned to competitive football for the 2003-04 season playing in the Kent County League. Since joining the Kent County League, the club have won promotion to Division 1 East and have won the Eastern Section Junior Cup in 2004 and the Senior Les Leckie Cup in 2006.
