Sheopur District

Sheopur District is a district of Madhya Pradesh state in central India. The district is located in the north of the state and forms part of Chambal Division.

The town of Sheopur is the district headquarters. Other towns include Vijaypur, Karahal and Baroda. The district has a population of 559,715 (2001 census) and covers an area of 666,081 kmĀ².
