Shemar Charles

Born Shemar Theodore Charles in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on July 2, 1996 to a Indian and Spanish Trinidadian mother and Black and Indian Guyanese father. Shemar is an actor, dancer, and singer. At the age of 8, he appeared in his first commercial for Reebok featuring the American rapper 50 Cent. He later went on to appear in his first music video "Temperature" for Jamaican Dancehall singer Sean Paul, directed by world renowned video music director "Lil X". Shemar is part of Canada's hottest and youngest dance group known as 2Badd, the group consists of Shemar aka "Lil Brooklyn" and Lamar aka "Flipz" Johnson. The two appeared on "Showtime at the Apollo" in February 2006, and in December 2006 on BET's 106 & Park's Wild Out Wednesday dance competition winning with 69% of the votes. Shemar has appeared in 7 commercials between May and October 2006, including 2 popular Zellers commercials, and Airborne Vitamins.
