Shelley Catherine Hennig (born January 2, 1987) was Miss Teen USA 2004, representing her home city of Destrehan and state of Louisiana.

She won her first title, Miss Louisiana Teen USA in Lafayette in November 2003, and reigned until she won the Miss Teen USA title on August 6, 2004 in Palm Springs, California. She gave up her Miss Teen USA title to Allie LaForce of Ohio in her home state of Louisiana on August 8 2005. Her Miss Teen USA winnings included a modeling contract, for one year, with Trump Modeling Management and scholarship to The School for Film and Television in New York. It also earned her a guest appearance in the NBC soap opera Passions.

As Miss Teen USA, Hennig represented the Miss Universe Organization. Her "sister" 2004 titleholders were Jennifer Hawkins (Miss Universe, of Australia) and Shandi Finnessey (Miss USA, of Missouri).

Hennig, an honor student and Senior Class Representative, was named an ‘Academic Excellence Student’ at Destrehan High School. She is interested primarily in dance, but also enjoys modeling, writing, art, choreography, traveling and shopping. An accomplished author, two of Hennig's poems have been published in the Young Authors Book of Poetry.

Three years before her title one of Hennig's brothers was killed in a drink-drive incident. Hennig became an advocate against under-age drinking and began working with a local Louisiana non-profit organization called 'C.A.D.A' (Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse), mentoring her peers on the impact of drug and alcohol abuse. As Miss Teen USA Hennig also worked with a number of other non-profit organizations, including Seeds of Peace, D.A.R.E., Sparrow Clubs and SHiNE.

Not long after she gave up her crown, Hennig participated on MTV's The Reality Show where she competed to win her own show, After the Crown. She will spend the next two years fulfilling her scholarship from The School for Film and Television in New York City.

On April 20th, 2007, Hennig will join the cast of Days of our Lives in the role of Stephanie Johnson, a role previously held by Shayna Rose from July 2006 to January 2007.[1]
