Shell Colony

Shell Colony is a colony situated in Chembur, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It originally consisted of buildings with the employees of the Shell Oil as residents (hence the name). Most of the buildings in this colony are very old, up to 35-50 years. Now most of them have been rebuilt.
The closest railway station to Shell colony is Tilak Nagar and Chembur.

This is a name of a colony situated in Shell Colony. The PIN Code is 400071. The colony consists of only Chawls. Most of the settlements here are as old as 1975. Earlier this land used to be an ecosystem of Khaadis(in Hindi or Marshy land. Later some of the land was legally bought some legally encroached upon.
The closest railway stations to Saibaba Nagar are Tilak Nagar and Chembur.
The colony is famous for its Saibaba Temple. Also, the saint Marys Church of Syro Malabar Roman Catholics used to be here, but now the church is in ruins and the church services have been shifted elsewhere.
