Shelby Super Cars

Shelby Super Cars commonly known as SSC is an American automobile manufacturer of exotic supercars based out of the Tri-Cities in Washington State. The company is owned by Jerod Shelby, unrelated to Carroll Shelby.
They build the SSC Aero, using supercharged General Motors pushrod engined V8s. Their "Ultimate Aero" is reputed to be a challenger to the title of fastest production car, held by the Bugatti Veyron, based on wind-tunnel testing that reached the conclusion its 6.4 litre 1048bhp V8 should be able to power it to around 270mph.
The company is unrelated to Carroll Shelby.
