Chander Shekhar Gurera (full name) with Shekhar Gurera as pen name : The famous, Indian mainstream page1 editorial Cartoonist, Illustrator & Designer and did his first commendable job at the age of just six years.
He is well known for hitting the funny bone with his quirky cartoons and illustrations, all pithy comments on India’s political and social trends. ... Whether it is coalition Govt., politics, the Union Budget or the elections, Gurera’s cartoons always hit the nail on the head.

[edit] Brief Biography
Born in 1965 at Moga, Punjab, he graduated in Science from Patiala in 1986 and got his degree in Applied Arts from College of Arts Delhi in 1990; started cartoon career in 1984. The Press Information Bureau, India accrediated editorial cartoonist working for several daily and megazine from print media from different languages (English, Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu etc.).

- Best cartoon Award : 1990 (awarded by Giani Zail Singh, President of India)
- Best cartoon Award : 1992 (awarded by P V Narasimha Rao, PM of India at Babu Jagjeevan Ram Memorial All India Art Exhibition)
- Represented India in 3rd Asian Cartoon Exhibition and conference organised by Japan Foundation Asia Centre at Tokyo: 1997.
- Coordinated "Kargil Kartoons", the solidarity gesture for army jawans and the chain exhibition at New Delhi, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Patna and Indore.
- Compiled a selection of cartoons "Kargil Kartoons" (dedicated to the Indian Defense forces): 1999
- Booklet on the history of Indian Railways: 2000
- Calendar for National Productivity Council: 2005
- Since 2000, has been hosting the humor based top-rated (of it's category) non-commercialised website
