Sheila Smythe

Sheila Smythe is a character in the That Wilkin Boy spin-off from Archie Comics. She is the often more understanding wife of militant blowhard Samson Smythe.
Where Samson can't stand the idea that their daughter Samantha Smythe is going steady with Woodrow "Bingo" Wilkin, III, Sheila is absolutely thrilled by it, since she and Bingo's mother, Wilma Wilkin, are best friends.
Sheila is also known for reining her more obstinate husband in when he gets too out of hand, and also being referee (along with Wilma) when their husbands go at each other for whatever reason.
