From 1996-1998, Sheila Chipperfield was the bassist in the London-based band Elastica. She is now a successful DJ playing clubs in London and across Europe. She is also involved in the production of the non-profit new music website www.liveroom.tv . This was created in april 2006 and is a platform for live new acts to be seen online.

She comes from the Chipperfield's Circus family, a circus dynasty that can be traced back more than 350 years. Daughter of William James Chipperfield, a fairground showman and Sheila Duggan a circus performer.Sheila has a twin, Sarah, and is the youngest of nine children.
