Sheherazade Goldsmith

Sheherazade Goldsmith (b.14 March 1974- ) is an English socialite, environmentalist and former fashion model.
Born Sheherazade Ventura-Bentley at King's College Hospital, London, she is the natural daughter of financier John Bentley from his relationship with actress Viviane Ventura. Her paternity was established on 13 March 1975 in the West London Domestic Court. Her mother raised her and her half-sister, Jasmine Dugan, in England and Spain. Fluent in four languages, she was educated at the Lycee Francais in London and graduated from Aiglon College boarding high school in Switzerland. She earned A levels in English Literature, Art, Spanish and French.
She enjoyed a successful modelling career and was about to embark on a career in fashion marketing when she met environmentalist Zac Goldsmith, son of the late Sir James Goldsmith. The couple were married on 5 June 1999. She and her husband have three children: Uma, Thyra and James. The Goldsmiths divide their time between homes in London and Devon.
