Sheffield to Hull Line

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Sheffield to Hull line is a railway line in northern England. It runs from Sheffield north east to Hull Paragon via Doncaster. Stopping services on the line are provided by Northern Rail, with many branching off to Adwick or Scunthorpe. Some stopping services continue through Hull on the Yorkshire Coast Line or through Sheffield from the Sheffield-Lincoln Line.

No fast services run the entire length of the line, but Virgin Trains Cross-Country Route links Sheffield with Doncaster, as do occasional Midland Mainline services, while TransPennine Express operate the South TransPennine route which links Sheffield with Scunthorpe via Doncaster
