There have been several railway stations serving central Sheffield:

• Bridgehouses
• Sheffield Midland—Currently the only station in central Sheffield, now known as simply Sheffield.
• Sheffield Victoria
• Sheffield Wicker—Sometimes also referred to pre-1870 as Sheffield Midland Station

There are numerous stations in Sheffield's suburbs, of which Meadowhall Interchange is the busiest.
