Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the United Kingdom's thirty-two NHS Foundation Trusts. It provides healthcare for people in the Sheffield area and surrounding area in South Yorkshire. The trust itself consists of the so-called west-campus, consisting of the Royal Hallamshire Hospital (a large acute hospital), and it's Jessop Wing (for fertility and women's health), Weston Park Hospital (a specialist cancer hospital) and the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital between Broomhill and Broomhall in the West End and the Northern General Hospital in the northern suburbs around Longley, Firth Park, Grimesthorpe and Shiregreen. Besides being a major healthcare services provider, providing over 900,000 appointments and opperations each year,[1] the Foundation Trust also provides clinical education for medical students from the University of Sheffield.
