Sheffield Council election 2004
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Elections to Sheffield Council were held on 10th June, 2004. The whole council was up for election with boundary changes having taken place since the last election in 2003, reducing the number of seats by 3. The Labour Party kept its overall majority and continued to run the council. The number of Councillors for each party after the election were Labour 44, Liberal Democrat 37, Conservative 2 and Greens 1. The single Independent seat was also lost in this election.
