Campbell returned for his third spell with the club during the 2005/6 season following short stays with Linfield and Glenavon.

Although he occupied the right back role during the 2005/6 season, he is expected to take his place in attack once again this year. An instinctive finisher, Campebell gained a reputation as a prolific striker at Ballymena United, and when on loan at City during the 2004/5 season his goals helped propel Armagh's successful promotion campaign.

Having made a number of club changes in a short space of time, it appears that Shea has decided to settle with his home-town club, in a bid to regain the form which saw him capped at under-21 level, and considered one of the province's finest goalscorers.
