She's like Heroin
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"She's like Heroin" is the tenth song from System of a Down's fifth album, Hypnotize. This song makes reference to prostitution caused by the drug selling, in which, according to the songs, people go to prostitution to afford money to buy drugs, like heroin; as is said in the lyrics, "Me and heroin maybe we can make some cash / Selling ass / Selling ass for heroin". Although the lyrics refer to these themes, many presume that this is just System of a Down having a bit of fun with song writing and as they normally do, they never explain the meanings of their songs directly to leave people with an open mind.
This song would appear to have no relation to the song "She's Like Heroin to Me", by the 80's punk band Gun Club, despite the titular similarity.
