User:Mereda usefully organized the page (Shashi_Deshpande&diff=84615255&oldid=84600166 on 30 October 2006), but I fear that Mereda's rather drastic deletion of essay material may have thrown some baby out with the bathwater. There was in the previous text, for example, useful (and usefully referenced) quotations from Deshpande which might well be re-integrated into the page as it stands. Dsp13 15:09, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
