It should absolutely stand alone, the James Thornton and Shaker Theatre entry. He was a complete genius and revolutionary.

Merge it. Nothing against the theater department, but there's nothing so spectacular about it that it warrants an entry at least twice as long as the school. It's a good school, and I'm sure a good theater department, but there's no need for a description of every single course offered. A sentence or two would suffice, since the notable alumni are all already listed in the school page.

Changed: A bit of wording with regards to AP classes causing stress, only some students have problems with overscheduling and overwork. --65.43.196.153 18:57, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Changed: The above change was unnecessary and entirely subjective ("causes students undue stress"; "more than necessary") and superfluous; also I fixed some of the poor word choices ("sports...sports...sports..."). I must agree though that the prominence of the theatre department and its graduates (it is well known even in the professional theatre world) merits its being included in a separate entry, albeit no longer than the entry on the school.
