Shawnee Mountain Ski Area

Shawnee Mountain is a ski resort in Eastern Pennsylvania located right outside Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania right next to the Delaware River in the eastern most part of The Poconos. Shawnee Mountain has a summit elevation of 1,350 feet and vertical elevation change of 700 ft. There are 125 acres of skiing terrain. The mountain has a total of 23 slopes, the longest of which is 5100 feet (1,554 m), 2 terrain parks, and 1 half pipe. It has 8 lifts, which include a high-speed quad, a double-double, and a triple. It also features night skiing and snowtubing. The mountain summit receives an average of 50 inches of snowfall each winter. The resort opened in 1975.
