Shaun Pejic

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Shaun Pejic (born 26 November 1982 in Hereford) is a Welsh footballer of Serbian ancestry[citation needed] who plays defense.[1] He came through the ranks at Wrexham, made a few caps for the Wales national under-21 football team, and is now a solid squad member of the Wrexham Squad. Although he has been at Wrexham for all of his career, Pejic has repeatedly refused to enter contract talks with his club this season.[citation needed] This now leaves his future in the balance as his current contract ends this summer and will leave him free to join any other club under the Bosman ruling.

Pejic's father Mel is a former player and current physiotherapist for Wrexham and Wales, and his uncle Mike is also a former footballer.[citation needed]
