(Sharon Marshall is also the most well-known alias for an unknown American female, born sometime in the late 1960s, who was abducted sometime in the early 1970s and was eventually killed in a suspicious hit-and-run accident in 1990. She is the subject of a 2004 book by author Matt Birkbeck.)

Sharon Marshall is a TV soap "gossip" who works on This Morning she usually has a slot on Fridays in which she talks about the three main UK soaps and shows clips from them.

Also on This Morning alongside Paul Ross she works on a general "what to watch" TV feature picking out the highlights of TV viewing over the course of a week.

Sharon appeared as a contestant on ITV's Celebrity Fit Club in early 2006 and channel Five (TV), Trust Me - I'm A Beauty Therapist in October 2006.
