Sharman Joshi

Sharman Joshi (Hindi: शर्मन जोशी) is an Indian actor.

He made his debut in 1999 with the film Godmother. This was followed by the comedy Shaadi No. 1 but the film failed at the box office. His next release was Rang De Basanti, starring Aamir Khan, a film that turned out to be a major success. His recent release Golmaal, which is also a comedy, has been an average success.

  • He is the son of Gujarati theatre writer-actor-director Arvind Joshi and his sister is television actress Mansi Joshi (now married to Rohit Roy). He is the nephew of and popular stage actor Sarita Joshi and cousin of actresses Ketki Dave and Purvi Joshi.
  • He is married to the daughter of Prem Chopra.
