Shardik is the enormous, eponymous bear of Richard Adams' novel Shardik. Shardik is believed to be divine by many characters in the book, and although the reader is never given direct access to Shardik's thoughts, virtually all the events of the novel revolve around him.

Another bear named Shardik can also be found in Stephen King's The Waste Lands.
