Sharan (Bosnia and Herzegovina)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sharan (born Arnel Šarić, on February 14, 1986) is rising star in Bosnia - Herzegovina. His TV and radio appereances became well known all over Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia and Montenegro.

Sharan has had a few TV projects, including "D.D.P. Kaznena Ekspedicija" (in english, D.D.P. Guilty Parties) and Zyon. Sharan started his career as amateur stuntman, stating Chris Pontius from MTV Jackass as his idol, and he tape a promo material with a few friends that gave them a job on national TV (Federalna Televizija). 2 months ago, he broke up his TV contract with FTV, pursuing a new show that might soon appear on some other local or international TV stations.

He is also working on Radio 202, one of the Sarajevo's most popular radio station, as moderator and metal DJ. He is creator of Izvan Svake Kontrole, show that is promoting metal and rock music in Bosnia-Herzegovina. His other shows on Radio 202 include DemoTop, that is co-hosted by him and Xander (real name: Aleksandar Brezar). DemoTop is a radio show dedicated to promotion of young, unsigned, demo underground bands from all over Bosnia - Herzegovina.

He was also Editor of the Morning Program on Radio 202 for a period of time, and he got fired because of his abusive and erratic behavior, often late arrivals to work and unique style that didn't satisfy either commercial critics or everyday listeners.

Along his TV and radio appereances, his other public appereances include a couple of amateur theatre shows and concerts with his punk-rock band Rapa Nui. Sharan is also involved in bands Marginalac Margarin, A JE TO! and Motherpig, he has his HC hip-hop side project named Kroshe Poetski, whose biggest underground success was the song Demir, which is against Dosta movement.

He is well known for his despise and, lately, hate against both rich people and people that are showing off in any way, including cars, clothes, or the way the behave. The best way he showed his hate is creating a song Kod Biche, big underground hip-hop success by his band Marginalac Margarin. One part of the lyrics is:

Skupa kolonjska na licu, na vratu zlatni lančić / Poznat sam u gradu kao krkan i seljačić / Kupio tata azzaro šulju i tole na peglu / Da budem u folu, pojeo sam kavijara teglu /

Imam najnoviji mobitel, znaš onaj xg325 / I nije važno što na računu imam samo maraka 5 / Sa mobitelom sam faca, iako mogu samo prozivat / I svaki put jarana za sms poruku moram pitat..

...which can be translated as:

Expensive eau-de-toillete on my face, gold necklace on my neck / This city knows me as a country hick and a redneck / My daddy bought me Azzaro shirt and a pair of suit pants / I want to be in style, so I ate a full keg of caviar /

I have the latest mobile phone, you know, that type XG325 / and it doesn't matter if my account is almosty spent / with this mobile phone, i am fancy / but every time I have to write an SMS I have to beg my friend for his phone...

He is sworn-to-the-grave anti-politician and anti-religious person, with controversial statements including often-public proclamation to the youth to deny politicians of their votes and any kind of religious preachers of their respect. He considers himself to be an Anarchist, but, not follower of anarchy, but follower of anarchism.
