Sharades

Sharades is one of Papoose's songs from his mixtape StreetSweepers Presents Papoose: Sharades first singles. It is a mixtape produced by DJ Kay Slay and is aired by radio station Hot 97.

It samples Kenny Loggins' "This Is It" from his album Keep the fire

In the lyrics. He says: "Gimme the keys to Shyne Po handcuffs/ Gimme the keys to Lil' Kim handcuffs/ Gimme the keys to C-Murder handcuffs/ So I could tighten 'em and let the cell slam shut/"

Papoose is very subliminal in the lyrics: "You call it tattoo, I call it the mark of the beast/ We identify criminals who rob on the streets/ By scars or tattoos don't you bother to think?/ They blame me for Biggie murder, but the case died out/ So now that's for me to know and for you to find out/"

But he is actually playing charades. He is pretending to be the Hip Hop Police to state the detrimental restrictions of the rap/hip hop business, which has made becoming a success difficult.
