Shao Jiang

People's Liberation Army insignia for Shao Jiang

Shao Jiang (少將) is a general officer rank within the People's Liberation Army and military of the Republic of China. In the PLA, the Shao Jiang outranks the Da Xiao and can be equated to the ranks of Major General and Rear Admiral. In the Republic of China Military, where there is no Da Xiao rank, it can be equated to the ranks of Brigadier General and Commodore.
