Shannon Selberg
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Shannon Selberg was the wild and loud frontman for the Minneapolis-based noise/punk rock group The Cows. He sang lead vocals and played his bugle. He often did crazy things on stage; there is one story where he performed a show wearing a cowboy hat (which he usually wore) but after the show he removed the hat to show that he had a donut sitting on his head for the whole show. He took a bite out of it and threw it into the audience, reportedly hitting a woman in the face. He has also played a show with a sex doll tied around his body, drawn on himself with permanent marker, kicked people in the front row of the audience, and one of his trademarks is to throw the microphone stand into the audience. His image of the anti-hero was mostly as convincing as true.
He lastly was the vocalist for the now defunct Heroine Sheiks.
