Shannon Rae Bex (b. March 22, 1980) is a member of the musical group Danity Kane. The group was founded by P. Diddy through the MTV reality television series Making the Band 3. Danity Kane's album debuted at #1 on August 22, 2006.
Bex was born in Bend, Oregon and attended Mountain View High School. She is the only married member of Danity Kane. She is also a former Portland Trailblazers dancer. She is of Scottish descent. As the oldest member of the group, she is sometimes referred as "the mother of the group". Her fellow group members also call her "Ballerina toes," because they say she sleeps with her feet pointed up and walks around the house tip-toed. Started learning dancing at age 6.As of 2007, she is learing to speak French. Shannon danced and sang for 5 seasons with the Portland Trailblazers. (edit) In school, Shannon was involved in drama, dance team, and choir.
Bex appeared on the 2003 series Fame, finishing as the runner-up to Harlemm Lee. In December 2005, she was featured as a potential "band" member on MTV's Making the Band 3 Season 2. She loves strawberries, horseback ridng, and ballet.
