Shankh Monastery

Shankh Monastery (Mongolian: Шанх хийд, Shank Khiid; historically known as West Monastery) is one of the oldest and most important monasteries in Mongolia, founded in 1647 by Zanabazar. It is located in the Övörkhangai Aimag, Western Mongolia.
