Shangri-La is a song recorded by Electric Light Orchestra.
The ninth and final song from the 1976 album A New World Record. A ballad about lost love with an extended fade out and reprise. The lyrics reflect the song's fade out "Faded like The Beatles on 'Hey Jude'". Mary Thomas (Rockaria!) appears on the song's reprise.
Until 2000 the song had never been used on a compilation album, when it appeared on Flashback.
