Shane McKenzie

Shane McKenzie (born July 4, 1973 in Adelaide, South Australia)[1] is an Australian bobsleigh athlete. He represented Australia at the Winter Olympics in 2006.

First started the sport of Bobsleigh in 2003 when was recruited by top Australian Professional Sprinter Robyn Calleja to join him on the European Circuit.

Shane McKenzie has also represented Australia at the 1992 World Junior Athletics Championships of Athletics in Seoul, Korea.

Shane McKenzie has been a Professional Sprinter competing regularly under the South Australian Athletic League, Victorian Athletic League and also has run in Tasmanian Athletic League events and New South Walse Athletic League events.

Successes include 4 time finalist in the Bay Sheffield 120m Gift on December 28th in Adelaide, twice runner up. Two time winner of the Back Marker's Invitation 120m Gift, Bendigo 5000 120m winner, South Australian 100m & 200m Sprint Champion and runner up in U20 Australian 100m Championships
