Shane Maloney

Shane Maloney is a Melbourne author, best known as the creator of the Murray Whelan series of novels, concerning crime in modern Melbourne. These books are Stiff, The Brushoff, The Big Ask, Nice Try and Something Fishy. The first two were recently made into telemovies starring David Wenham and Mick Molloy.

Shane Maloney was the subject of a 2005 Archibald Prize painting by artist Ric Amor.
