Shane Lechler (born August 7, 1976 in East Bernard, Texas) is an American football punter who currently plays for the Oakland Raiders. Lechler played football at Texas A&M University from 1996-1999. In the NFL, Lechler has been named an All-Pro three times during his career. He is currently the NFL's All-Time leader in career punting average.

Lechler attended East Bernard High School and was a standout in football, basketball, and baseball. In football, he was a quarterback, punter, and kicker.
