Shane Keister

Shane Keister is a musician. He is best known for his keyboard work and writing for Amy Grant. He has also worked with Joe Ely on his Honky Tonk Masquerade album, and John Hiatt's Two Bit Monsters. He is known to play Synthesizer, Piano, Moog Synthesizer, Fairlight, Fender Rhodes, and much more.
Shane grew up in the small Southern Ohio town of Portsmouth, Ohio, and was a very talented young musician (pianist). He was a contemporary and fellow music student with Kathleen Battle (renown opera diva) though a few years younger. Playing anything but classical music was discourage by his parents but, in his later years of high school, he began playing with local "garage" rock and roll bands. He was an instant success and thus began his music career.
