Shane Bradley (born on 21 November, 1980 in Stranorlar, County Donegal) is an Irish football (soccer) player currently with the League of Ireland First Division club Finn Harps FC. He holds the nickname, 'Rita'.

Bradley, who grew up in Stranorlar near Finn Park, was a Finn Harps supporter as a boy and used to sell programmes outside the ground, before taking up his position on the terraces.

[edit] Career

Bradley's early clubs included Drumkeen United and Convoy Arsenal before a move to Ulster Senior League side, Fanad United. In December, 1996, Bradley signed for Finn Harps from Fanad and made his debut against Derry City FC in the Irish News Cup on 16 December, 1997. The strong centre-back took the role of stand-in captain for the majority of the 2006 campaign and hasn't let the Finn Park faithful down with several top-class performances in defence. He can also play up front as a make-shift striker but is more comfortable in the centre of defence. Bradley scores his fair share of goals and has scored more goals for Harps than any of the current squad.

In total, Bradley has played 278 times for Finn Harps, which includes 33 substitute appearances. He has also managed to accumulate a tally of 37 goals in this time.
