Shandong Peninsula

The Shandong Peninsula (Simplified Chinese: 山东半岛; Traditional Chinese: 山東半島) also known as the Jiaodong Peninsula (胶东半岛; 膠東半島) is a peninsula in the Shandong province of northeastern China. It marks the southern limit of the Bohai Sea.
Cities on the peninsula include: Qingdao, Yantai and Weihai.
The local dialect of Mandarin is known as Jiao-Liao, also spoken on the Liaodong peninsula to the north across the Bohai Sea.
