Shakthi TV is the first Tamil television service of Sri Lanka. It is one of the two tamil television services in Sri Lanka. The other being Channel Eye, part of the Rupavahini Group owned by the state. Shakthi TV broadcasts on an UHF frequency from 6am to 9pm. It's a member company of MBC group.
