Shakopee Area Transit

Shakopee area transit began fixed route service in December 2002. The routes have been changed many times in the past. Currently their is a Route 495 that connects Shakopee to Burnsville Transit Station and the MVTA. They also operate the Route 496E and Route 496W. These routes are all day Shakopee circulators. In June 2007 the city of Shakopee will open the 500-space Southbridge park and ride. Shakopee Transit will the operate a direct express to Minneapolis.
