Shakespeare in Washington Festival

From January through June 2007, Washington, D.C. is hosting an international festival in honor of the works of William Shakespeare.
More than 40 arts organizations from Washington and around the world come together for Shakespeare in Washington, a festival featuring a vast array of theater, music, and dance, as well as films, art exhibits, and many other events at the Kennedy Center and other venues across the D.C. area. This remarkable celebration was conceived by Michael M. Kaiser, President of the Kennedy Center, and is curated by Michael Kahn, Artistic Director of the Shakespeare Theatre Company.
