[edit] History
Shaka Labbits formed in May 1999 under the name Juu-Shock. The band changed its name two months later to Shaka Labbits, by combining lead singer Uki's favorite animal (rabbit) with the English phrase "Love It". They began performing around Tokyo in August 1999, and cut their first single Swiss Mammy, releasing it through indie label Evil Design Records. They then released Overdoing, a maxi single, on September 9, 2000. Since then, they have released at least one maxi single per year. They have released four full studio albums: Exploring of the space (2001), Clutch (2004), Crimson Square (2005), and Uso wo Mazekonda Shinjitsu no Soup (2007).
