Shadows of the Past, is a fantasy novel, that is not yet published, but still in the process of being written. In the style of Tolkien, Graham, and Paolini, Harrison Bonvissuto takes us on a terrific journey through his debut epic fantasy novel.

Telana, the queen of the people of Ellrenir trys to start a new life in Eriagon, her city in Gerdor was destroyed, her parents and cousin both slaughtered with many of her people. And now aided by her brother Elwing she must lead her remaining people through the shadows to a new land. Little does she know of the dark evil that awaits, hordes of Beastmen, and the soldiers of Vandr the dark lord, make the queens plight seem to no avail. A strange man in ragged clothes turns out to be of noble blood, and he becomes the queens general and friend.

As legend tells there where once three great swords of power, each different in color and hue. Visions have been seen of the ancient king of old, Karven, bearer of the sword Andaril. Two young men, once enemies go on a quest to seek the sword. Meanwhile the queen is captured and taken prisoner to a different land. Rhada stays behind in the new built city of Eberron, unable to aide the queen. Vandr prepares for a battle that will destroy the race of men, but as the shadows linger, a new army arises. And after the queen is saved by the two questers Rashtin, and Elwing, they make their way home. On the way while shipwreaked they discover that their cousin Corrium still lives. As the queen returns home to find her city under repair and many of her friends dead, she prepares for the greatest battle of all time.
