Shadows and Light is Joni Mitchell's 1980 double live album, recorded at the Santa Barbara County Bowl in September 1979 on the Mingus tour. Joni's band lineup at the time included Jaco Pastorius, Pat Metheny, Lyle Mays, Don Alias and Michael Brecker. The Persuasions provide vocal backing on "Why Do Fools Fall in Love." The concert was also released on VHS and DVD.
