ShadowCon

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

ShadowCon is a science fiction and fantasy convention, held in Oslo, Norway every year in July/August. It is held by The Shadow Project (TSP), a SF&F fandom society. ShadowCon is usually arranged at the Blindern campus of the University of Oslo. ShadowCon celebrates 10 years in 2006, with its 11th convention held 3 to 6 August this year.

ShadowCon is also the name of a Society for Creative Anachronism, gaming, science fiction and fantasy convention held in Memphis, Tennessee. It started as the annual Yule or Christmas party for the Shadow Legion, which is a SCA Household. It now has everything that is normally found at a science fiction and fantasy convention along with activities from Society for Creative Anachronism events and a Renaissance Fair. It is usually the first weekend of Jan.
