Shéu

Shéu Han (born Inhassoro, Mozambique, August 3, 1953) was a Portuguese football player, who spent almost his entire career in SL Benfica.

The midfielder made his first appearance for Benfica during the 1972/73 season, but only became a regular player in 1975/76. He would remain there until the end of his career, as Benfica capitan, in 1988/89. He won the National Championship for the seasons of 1972/73, 1974/75, 1975/76, 1976/77, 1980/81, 1982/83, 1983/84, 1986/87 and 1988/89. He also won the Cup of Portugal for the years of 1980, 1981, 1983, 1985, 1986 and 1987. He became Benfica's capitan in 1986/87. At international level, he played at the UEFA Cup final in 1983, when Benfica lost to RSC Anderlecht (0-1 and 1-1), scoring the leading goal in the second round, in Lisbon, and, as capitan, at the UEFA Champions Cup final, in 1988.

He was caped 24 times for the Portuguese national team (the "Selecção"), scoring a goal, since his first game, a 1-3 lost to Italy, in Turin, on 7 April 1976, in a friendly match, to his last one, in Bern, a 1-1 tie with Switzerland, on 29 October 1986, in Euro 1988 qualifyings. He played at the Euro 1984 qualifiers, but wasn't in the squad that reached third place in the finals.

After ending his football career, he became a football manager and was assistant coach for Benfica.
