Sfakiotes (Σφακιώτες) is the fifth most populated municipality on the island of Lefkada, Greece. Population 1,862 (2001). The seat of the municipality is in Lazarata. The municipal name owes its origin to its first inhabitants who came from Sfakia and Chora Sfakion in the island of Crete. The municipality also features the Melissa gorge, one of the most beautiful points of interests on the island.
