[edit] Genre Discussion

Sex Machineguns are, in my opinion, power metal. A lot of their stuff sounds almost exactly like Imaginations-era Blind Guardian. Metal Archives also agrees. I can say for certain that they're DEFINITELY not speed metal. The previous labeling of heavy metal was much closer. Shralla 19:46, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

The song BURN ~Love's Burning Fire~ is pure Thrash Metal, Metallica style, no way SEX MACHINEGUNS are Power Metal. -- Stahn @ 02:00, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
there is no way in hell SM is power metal
I don't know where you're finding this Blind Guardian link, but I don't see it. As far as I can tell, they're labelled as power metal simply because they sound somewhat like speed/power bands like DragonForce. They lack the vocal and lyrical styles of power metal, and I don't see anything beyond speed and maybe some thrash. Slayer425 06:05, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Capitalization?

Is it the proper form of the band name to be fully capitalized, rather than Sex Machineguns? Ëvilphoenix Burn! 16:23, 16 September 2005 (UTC)
