Sexual Harassment (Beavis and Butt-head episode)

Sexual Harassment is an episode in the fictional animated series Beavis and Butt-head. It aired in the fifth season (1994-1995) and is available on DVD as part of The Mike Judge Collection.

Beavis and Butt-head are in Social Studies class at school, where Mr. Van Driessen is teaching a lesson on sexual harassment. When Van Driessen asks if anyone can give an example of harassment, Butt-head raises his hand and complains that an attractive classmate named Kimberly is sexually harassing him. Beavis clarifies that the "harassment" involves giving him an erection.

After the two make the outlandish statements, Van Driessen explains to them that they are in fact harassing Kimberly, and that in real life people sue each other over such cases for "millions of dollars". This gives the two the idea to sue Kimberly in hopes of getting rich. They secure the counsel of Attorney Joe Adler, who makes a case for the two; in the court session, the judge cannot understand the boys' description of the supposed incident. In the courtroom, Beavis accuses Kimberly of harassing him again during the court session itself, Butt-head explains to the judge what Beavis means by "giving him a stiffie", and Adler attempts to overrule Kimberly's objection in place of the judge, at which point he is threatened with contempt of court.

At the end of the episode, the judge takes the boys and Adler into her chamber and reprimands them on bringing the most ridiculous case in the history of her tenure, at which point the two accuse her of giving them erections.

• This is Attorney Joe Adler's second appearance on the show; in a previous episode entitled "Whiplash", the two staged a school bus accident in a similar attempt to get rich after seeing a television commercial for Adler. That case never made it to court, as Adler was arrested for fraud while Beavis and Butt-head were still in his office.
