Sex Symbols (VH1 tv series)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A half hour music video show that aired midnight weekdays on VH1 starting in 1993 and continuing for a few years. While the premise of the show was suppose to be videos by sexy recording artists, it was criticized for being another non show. Not only were the videos already shown in rotation during the daytime hours, but the programmers did not seem to care if the artist was an actual sex symbol. Among the artists shown during the show was Bonnie Raitt. George Michael was another artist featured on the show, but with the video for Freedom even though it was filmed without him. There were other George Michael videos at the time with George actually in them, but VH1 stuck with the one that was in rotation at the time.
