Sex Over The Phone is an album by the Village People. It was its final album, and the title track Sex Over The Phone gained some airtime in Europe, but didn't reach the height of the group's earlier fame. The album features Ray Stephens as lead singer. As gay subtexts are often found in Village People songs, some have suggested that themes in this album refer to safer sex. This is because AIDS emerged within the gay community during the 80's.
